Let’s “crawl” with Tycoon Events: Boyle Street Community League!

A few days ago, I had so much fun on a venue crawl that the fabulous Eryne of Tycoon Event Planning & Promotions coordinated visits for a group of industry professionals in the Edmonton. She also provided the descriptions in this series of blog posts featuring the 6 venues that we visited. Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing images I took and Eryne’s descriptions of 6 venues. As an Edmonton Wedding and Event Photographer, I was so happy to be able to join this venue crawl to provide images of a variety of venues in Edmonton.

Starting with Boyle Street Community League, where we were greeted by their very cheerful and lovely Facility Coordinator, Christine, who also showed us around the venue.

Eryne: “More than just a hall, this new venue in the Quarters has meeting rooms, a catering kitchen, large hall and theatre space – all at incredibly affordable rates. The venue offers a lot of great amenities such as a bar (attached to the catering kitchen), soundboards, speakers, microphones, projectors, screens, tables, and chairs. Did I mention that one of the meeting rooms has its own private patio space and a bbq?!”This 6,270 sq. ft flex space / gymnasium can accommodate a great range of events: pickup team sports, exquisite weddings, cocktail receptions, concerts, and presentations. Its capacity is 471 people in banquet seating or 754 people in theatre seating. Rates as of May 2015: $100 / hour or $700 / day. This is their Facility Coordinator, Christine; she is the person you should contact to book Boyle Street Community League for your corporate event or wedding there!
