Edmonton Events | Odysseo by Cavalia Social Media Night

Thanks to tickets from our friend, Lindsay of Modern Mama Edmonton, Marla & I, Funmi enjoyed an awesome evening last night at Odysseo by Cavalia‘s Social Media Night, SMNYEG. The creator and performers announced to other guests that the SMNYEG guests would be taking photographs and video without flash using only their phone cameras. These images were all taken with my phone camera without flash so the performers & horses were not distracted and the rest of the audience were not disturbed.

As we were VIPs, Marla & I enjoyed a wide variety of savoury and sweet meals and an open bar! The horses, performers, musicians, front of house team and indeed, the creator of Odysseo by Cavalia, Normand Latourelle produced  breathtaking entertainment, so much so that I found myself close to tears of joy and wonderment at what I was witnessing. We also had the pleasure of meeting Kim of Mommy Knows & her daughter, Elizabeth, Jenifer of City and Baby & her partner, Christopher, Alex of Shareworthy & one of the performers, Lara (who signed a program for us!) and seeing Kim & Steve of YEGTweetup, Andrea of Little Miss Andrea & her sister, Alyssa, Adrienne, Freelance Journalist Cheryl, Robyn of Joyful Follies, Phil of Baconhound, Tamara, Sarah & Kim of Cavalia again.

Soon, we will be able to share the professional images that Cavalia commissioned us to take of the arrival of the Horses in Edmonton and behind the scenes tour at the beginning of July 2014, watch this space.
