Last Thursday, we had the great pleasure of covering the I wish for a new Waiter Gala 2015 to benefit The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada. Over 250 Edmonton community members were waited upon by local celebrities and distinguished members of the business community for the evening at Chateau Lacombe Hotel. The celebrities entertained guests and cajoled them to donate to an Edmonton & area child’s wish in the form of tips for their service.
Official Mascot for Children’s Wish, Roary was used to signify the amounts raised by the sections of tables. as the amounts increased, the relevant Roary was raised up its stand.
There was also a silent auction, a photo booth by Mojo Photo and guests had the opportunity to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses.

Each wish costs approximately $10,000 to grant so we congratulate Children’s Wish Edmonton Gala on raising enough funds to make 5 wishes come true!
