It is always a source of immense pleasure when our fellow wedding vendors commission us to cover their personal milestone events. A few weeks ago, it happened again; the talented Mariah of Elegant Earth Details & Decor booked us to cover her 30th birthday party at Ampersand27.
Shimmery Ombre and Pink…
… is the theme that I, Funmi, would describe Mariah’s elegant birthday party, which also had a definite nod to her appreciation of great food and drink provided by her magnificent venue. Mariah blogged about the party and included a different set of images that we took.

Mariah’s guests received these favours, which were sweets, chocolates and PartyLite candles in jar with calligraphed labels.

Mariah’s Sister illustrated the birthday card envelope with a scene from Mariah & Sam’s trip to Tofino, BC. How lovely!

As you can imagine, Mariah, Sam & us started discussing the possibility of an intimate wedding being held at Ampersand27’s Mixer room. It is such a beautiful space, would be great for a wedding reception after a wedding ceremony on an Edmonton High Level Bridge Streetcar, for example.
